Founded in 1974 in San Antonio, we have been serving the San Antonio community for over 30 years. Other than changing our name from Holland Soil Stabilizers in 1987 to Land Stabilizers, there are not many differences. Specializing in Soil Stabilization and Foundation Repair, Land Stabilizers is a family-owned, locally-operated company. We still strive to pave the way for stabilization concepts and take pride in our customer service. We have helped build Texas and have a stake in its future.

A Pioneer in the Field
|
| |
Land Stabilizers has long been a pioneer in the management of Texas' clay soils. We pioneered the process of soil stabilization in Texas in the early 1970's.

1974 to the 1980s
|
| |
Begun in 1974 by Leonard M. Holland, Holland Soil Stabilizers set out to be a pioneer in a relatively new field. Mr. Holland, with the assistance of his son, Andrew L. "Andy" Holland, opened their first office in San Antonio. By 1975, the company was awarded the contract to stabilize the Windsor Park Mall, the largest job that the company has seen to date, covering over 3 million square feet of parking areas and building pads.
By the mid 1980's the company had offices in San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Baton Rouge, and Austin. To date, Land Stabilizers, LTD has completed more than 8,000 successful projects in Texas and the surrounding states. Please call or contact our office with your special projects or needs so our soil stabilization or foundation repair experts can or will design a personal plan for your special needs. Our toll free number is 800-472-5012, or e-mail Andrew Holland at andy@landstabilizers.com

1980s to mid 1990s
|
| |
In 1987, Leonard Holland decided to retire from day to day operations and handed over the reigns of Holland Soil Stabilizers to his son, Andrew. Firstly, the company changed its name to Land Stabilizers, LTD to better address the businesses it serves. Secondly, we entered the foundation repair business in San Antonio full time.

1998: A Devastating Loss
|
| |
In 1998, the company and family suffered a huge loss in the death of Leonard "Pops" Holland. His accomplishments and spirit were undeniably the single most important factor in making Land Stabilizers the company it is today.

The Current Day
|
| |
Today, Land Stabilizers has developed a considerable reputation for its work, and is a well-regarded expert in the field of clay soil management. The company is currently managed by Andrew "Andy" Holland, with the help of his son Luke Holland acting as office manager Superintendents James Holley and Chris Walker. Paul Woerner is currently assisting with residential marketing.
